CLAY COUNTY, MINN. (trfnews.i234.me) – Dallas Viker, 43, of St. Cloud, has been arrested after leading authorities on a high-speed chase in a stolen vehicle. Viker faces charges of fleeing a peace officer and receiving stolen property, along with an outstanding probation violation warrant.
On December 2, Fargo police informed a Clay County Sheriff’s Sergeant that Viker, driving a stolen 2008 Chevy Silverado, was fleeing from officers. The chase entered Clay County on 60th Avenue South. Officers deployed stop sticks twice—on 100th Street South and on I-94—leading to flat tires on the vehicle.
The Clay County Sergeant found the vehicle and attempted a traffic stop. Viker did not slow down and instead sped up. Eventually, the flat tires caused him to lose control, and he pulled over on I-94 near 20th Street South. Once arrested, Viker admitted to stealing the vehicle 10 days earlier.
