FARGO, N.D. (trfnews.i234.me) – On Monday, November 18, at 8:22 a.m., officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 900 block of Southwood Dr. S. The vehicle’s owner stated it was last seen in their locked garage, but the keys were left inside.
Police entered the vehicle’s information into the National Criminal Information Center database and the FPD’s FLOCK camera system. At approximately 1 p.m., the FLOCK License Plate Readers provided the vehicle’s location and direction of travel in Fargo.
Officers located the vehicle, observing a man, Valentino Barrientez, exiting the driver’s seat and entering a business. Two passengers remained inside. During Barrientez’s arrest, officers found the vehicle’s keys and drug paraphernalia.
The passengers were also detained. One, identified as Dacotah Coggins, had drug paraphernalia at his feet and multiple active warrants. The second passenger was released.
Barrientez, 34, was arrested on charges including Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and outstanding warrants. Coggins, 24, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine and related offenses.
