Stearns County Teen Injured In Crash With Pickup On Highway 71 | trfnews.i234.me

GETTY TOWNSHIP (trfnews.i234.me) – A two-vehicle crash in Stearns County late Monday morning left a 17-year-old Elrosa girl injured.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2010 Ford Fusion driven by Katie Marie Derichs and a 2011 Ford F150 driven by 73-year-old Michael Robert Roelike of Glenwood collided while both were southbound on Highway 71 at County Road 22 around 11:49 a.m. on June 23.

Derichs was transported to Sauk Centre Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. She was wearing a seatbelt. Roelike was not injured and also had a seatbelt on at the time of the crash.

Emergency crews from Sauk Centre Ambulance and the Elrosa Fire Department responded. Road conditions were dry, and alcohol was not a factor.
