PAYNESVILLE TWP, Stearns County (trfnews.i234.me) – A Lake Lillian man was injured in a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning in Paynesville Township.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at 12:33 a.m. on June 7, 51-year-old Chad Micheal Fischer was driving a 2013 Lincoln MKX northbound on Highway 23 near milepost 174 when the vehicle unexpectedly crossed the southbound lanes and entered the north ditch.
Fischer, who was wearing a seat belt at the time, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Paynesville Hospital. The vehicle’s airbags did not deploy, and alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
Stearns County authorities assisted at the scene.
