Stearns County (trfnews.i234.me) – TRF News has learned that a St. Cloud man is in custody following a brutal stabbing late last month. George Washington Harris Jr. of St. Cloud has been charged after turning himself in to authorities in Montana.
According to court records, Harris is accused of stabbing Aundrea Olson as many as 17 times on August 31. Witnesses reported seeing much of the attack unfold in St. Cloud. Family members say on a GoFundMe page that Olson is now recovering from her injuries. They note that Harris is the father of her six children.
Harris faces four felony charges, including attempted murder and varying degrees of assault. Officials say the investigation remains ongoing, and additional details may be released as the case proceeds in Stearns County District Court.
