Jacky Oh’s legacy

Born Jacklyn Smith, Jacky Oh came into the public eye as a model and social media influencer on Instagram. Television show host Nick Cannon saw her work and asked her to try out for the MTV and VH1 sketch comedy show “Wild ‘N Out” in 2013. Landing the role changed her life.

She spent five seasons on “Wild ‘N Out” in all, which helped boost her already considerable social media reach even further. While working on the show, she met comedian D.C. Young Fly. The pair became a couple, ultimately having three children together and often working together on entertainment projects. This includes Oh’s YouTube channel, which has over 800,000 subscribers and focuses on the life and times of her family.

When not performing in and creating reality entertainment, Oh was an entrepreneur who pursued a wide array of projects. She launched the J Nova Collection, her own line of lip gloss and other beauty projects. She also pursued an acting career, appearing in films such as “Clout” and “Scheme Queens.” However, Oh often shared that her greatest source of pride was being a mother of three.
