Stabbing Reported Early Sunday North of Bemidji

BEMIDJI, Minn. (trfnews.i234.me— Authorities in Beltrami County responded to a report of a stabbing victim early Sunday morning north of Bemidji. According to emergency radio traffic, the call came in around 12:11 a.m. regarding a person who had been stabbed and was being transported in a vehicle along Highway 71 Northeast near Well Road Northeast.

Dispatch audio indicated that Blackduck Ambulance was requested to meet the vehicle at the scene. Law enforcement and medical personnel responded shortly after the call to assist the injured individual.

At this time, details on the circumstances surrounding the stabbing — including the victim’s condition or whether any arrests have been made — have not yet been released. Authorities have confirmed the incident remains under investigation.

Residents in the area reported seeing emergency lights and a heavy response north of Bemidji during the overnight hours. TRF News will provide updates as more information becomes available, including possible charges once they are filed.
