St. Hilaire (trfnews.i234.me) — A North Dakota man has been cited after a reported gas drive-off at a St. Hilaire business.

Report made late Jan. 25

The Pennington County Sheriff’s Office said it received a theft report at about 9:26 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25.

The report came from Kruse Inn in St. Hilaire.

Suspect identified

Norman Hans Baker, 40, of Hatton, North Dakota, has been cited for theft of motor fuel from a retailer.

Investigators say Baker allegedly drove away without paying for gasoline.

The amount reported was $60.08 in fuel.

What happens next

A citation is not a conviction.
