Stearns County ( trfnews.i234.me ) – St. Cloud Police are investigating a stabbing that left a woman in critical condition Sunday morning.
Officers were called at 9:40 a.m. to the 400 block of 19th Avenue North for a report of a stabbing. Responding officers found an adult female victim and began medical care.
Mayo Ambulance transported the victim to St. Cloud Hospital. Police report she remains in critical condition.
The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office assisted with a K-9 track in the area. The suspect was not located.
Investigators say the suspect and victim are known to each other. The suspect’s identity is not being released at this time.
Detectives continue to canvass the neighborhood for witnesses and video. Residents and businesses with cameras facing the street are asked to review footage from 9:00 to 10:15 a.m.
