Spring Valley, Fillmore County (trfnews.i234.me) – On Thursday, May 29, 2025, at approximately 11:53 p.m., a serious collision occurred on Highway 63 at North Park Drive in Spring Valley, Fillmore County. The incident involved a 2003 Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a 2014 Chevy Impala, both traveling southbound.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the motorcycle, operated by 27-year-old Taylor Anthony Roe of Spring Valley, was traveling without lights when it was rear-ended by the Impala, driven by 26-year-old Alexander William Kimelman of Rochester. Roe was not wearing a helmet and sustained life-threatening injuries. He was transported to the Mayo Clinic Hospital- Saint Marys for treatment. Kimelman was uninjured. Both drivers are suspected of alcohol involvement.
Emergency response teams from the Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office, Spring Valley Fire Department, and Spring Valley Ambulance assisted at the scene.
