Benson County (trfnews.i234.me) – The trial for Johnnie Gaking, accused in the March 4th, 2025, fatal shootings of his sister and 3-year-old niece in Tokio, North Dakota, has been rescheduled for November 18 in Fargo.

Gaking faces two counts of second-degree murder and one count of attempted murder after allegedly killing Tiana Sharel Walking Eagle and her daughter Lokie, and attempting to kill his mother. A surviving relative reported hearing three shots, then escaping while Gaking paused to reload.

The trial, originally set for June 3, was delayed at the defense’s request to allow further investigation and trial preparation. The proceedings are now expected to last 10 days.
