CLOQUET, CARLTON COUNTY (trfnews.i234.me) — A rollover crash occurred on northbound Interstate 35 just south of Cloquet when a 2009 Smartcar Fortwo missed its exit and overcorrected, leaving the roadway and rolling into a ditch.
The incident happened at 10:02 AM on April 19, 2025, under dry conditions. The driver, 61-year-old Cindy Jean Heddens of Sauk Rapids, MN, was wearing a seatbelt and did not require hospitalization despite the rollover. Airbags did not deploy, and alcohol was not involved.
Emergency crews from Cloquet Police, Fire, and Ambulance responded to the scene and confirmed that no other vehicles were involved.
