JAMESTOWN, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – We have more information about a serious crash approximately seven miles west of Jamestown on I-94, near the oil pipeline and distribution tanks. A Suburban overturned in a slough along the interstate, carrying as many as seven people, including children.
Initial reports from radio traffic indicated that children were trapped inside the overturned vehicle. A passerby reported that seven people were in the vehicle, with one child receiving CPR. As of 7:00 p.m., all victims had been removed from the scene, and six individuals were transported to the hospital by ambulance.
Emergency services performed triage on-site, categorizing four patients as green (minor injuries), one as yellow (serious but not life-threatening), and one as red (critical). The North Dakota Highway Patrol is expected to release a detailed crash report soon.
