Significant Fentanyl Seizure in Bemidji

BEMIDJI, MN (trfnews.i234.me) A Bemidji man is facing a major drug trafficking charge, after authorities allegedly seized over 100 grams of Fentanyl this week.
a bemidji man has allegedly been found in possession of 129 grams of fentanyl worth over 20 thousand dollars on the street 42 year old matthew james hanson of bemidji has been charged with felony first degree sale of drugs according to court documents in a response to drug overdoses in the bemidji area law enforcement learned from multiple confidential sources that fentanyl was allegedly being sold uh from 5653 alps court northwest lots 63 near bemidji a uh trailer park on the west side of town it was matthew hanson’s residence on april 22nd a search warrant was granted for the residents and because agents knew he was in possession of guns it was planned to make the arrest on a traffic stop on april 27th he was pulled over on a traffic stop near the bemidji theater his phone and two thousand five hundred sixty dollars cash was seized uh then a search of his residence was conducted 66 grams of fentanyl was founded in one area along with 3 grams of cocaine 2 grams of meth 29 grams of marijuana which were seized another 63 grams of fentanyl was found at another location in the home and another 764 dollars in cash electronic scales and baggies hanson has previous drug convictions i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
