Hernandez was transported to New Ulm Medical Center for treatment, but was not seriously injured. The airbag in the vehicle did not deploy during the incident. Authorities confirmed that Hernandez was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash, and alcohol was not involved.

The road conditions were snowy and icy at the time of the crash, which may have contributed to the incident. No other vehicles or agencies were involved.
