FARGO, Cass County (trfnews.i234.me) – A Fargo woman is behind bars following a disturbing domestic assault that occurred just after midnight on June 21.
Authorities responded to a report of a stabbing and found a man with a shallow but long cut down his back. He told officers that he had been drinking with Naomi Turner, who allegedly slashed him with a kitchen knife during an argument. He also confirmed they were in an on-and-off relationship and occasionally lived together.
Another tenant in the building stated the man had been stabbed by a woman still inside the apartment, but downplayed the incident as “overreacting.”
Police made contact with Turner, who denied harming the victim but allowed police to search her unit, where they seized three kitchen knives. After being arrested, Turner resisted a search, struggling with officers before being secured and booked.
Turner was charged with aggravated domestic assault with a dangerous weapon.
