Cass County (trfnews.i234.me) — A Fargo man has been charged with felony sexual assault after a disturbing incident involving a minor at Victoria’s Secret in West Acres Mall on the afternoon of May 31st, 2025.
According to court documents, the young female victim reported that a man she didn’t know approached her and grabbed her buttocks inside the lingerie store. The entire incident was captured on surveillance video.
Mall security quickly responded and obtained a photo of the suspect’s license plate as he left the scene. Officers stopped the suspect, Joshua J. Vee, a short time later.
During questioning, Vee admitted to being at the mall and entering Victoria’s Secret. He told officers he had been “listening to music” and “dancing around.” When confronted with the surveillance footage, which showed him grabbing the minor, Vee allegedly stated:
“I’m impulsive sometimes,” and when asked if he remembered the incident, said,
“I remember something that could have been that.”
Vee was then arrested and formally charged with felony sexual assault of a minor. The case is under investigation, and authorities have not ruled out the possibility of additional charges.
