FARGO, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – New details have surfaced about the violent incident in downtown Fargo on Sunday afternoon, which occurred shortly after the Pride Parade. The suspect, Michael Hurteau, who is homeless, now faces six felony charges, including two counts of attempted murder, three counts of aggravated assault, and one count of terrorizing.
According to the incident report, on August 11th, officers responded to a stabbing at 4th Avenue North and Broadway. Witnesses reported that Hurteau attacked a man and a woman, leaving the woman with four stab wounds, including a punctured lung, and the man with a knife wound to his face. Hurteau also threw the knife at another woman, leaving a red mark on her chest. A witness feared that Hurteau was going to attack another person before he was quickly apprehended and taken into custody. He is now facing serious charges as the investigation continues.
