SHOCKING CRASH: High-Speed Rollover on Highway 135 in Gilbert, MN – trfnews.i234.me

Gilbert, MN (trfnews.i234.me) — In the early hours of Thursday, May 8, 2025, a 1999 Subaru Impreza traveling eastbound on Highway 135 at a high rate of speed failed to navigate a corner, veered off the road, and rolled twice before coming to rest on its wheels near County Road 921. The driver, 21-year-old Tyler Wilson Wood of Eveleth, MN, was uninjured. However, his passenger, 19-year-old Nehemiah Joseph King of Virginia, MN, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Virginia Hospital for treatment.

Emergency responders from the Virginia Police Department, Eveleth Police Department, Gilbert Fire Department, and other agencies assisted at the scene. Road conditions were dry, and alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
