SHERBURNE COUNTY, MINNESOTA (trfnews.i234.me) – Emergency responders were dispatched to a serious two-vehicle crash late Tuesday morning involving a Ford Explorer and a Volvo semi-truck on U.S. Highway 169 near Main Street, in Sherburne County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the 2016 Ford Explorer, driven by Rosemary Ann Peterson, 83, of Shakopee, was merging southbound when it collided with a 2019 Volvo Semi driven by Bradley Paul Houdek, 60, of Oak Park. Houdek was not injured.

Peterson and her 84-year-old husband, Dallas Edmond Peterson, were both transported to Mercy Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Both wore seat belts, and alcohol was not a factor in the crash.

Responding agencies included the Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office, Zimmerman Fire/Rescue, and North Memorial Ambulance.

I’m Chris Harper reporting for TRF News.
