Several Charges Filed After Chase in Cass County, North Dakota

CASS COUNTY, ND (trfnews.i234.me) A Walcott, North Dakota man is facing multiple charges, following an early Sunday morning pursuit in Cass County.
Sunday morning Pursuit leads to multiple charges against a suspect this in from Cass County North Dakota sheriff Jesse Johner early Sunday morning before 2 A.M a deputy attempted to stop a motor vehicle in rural Horus after the speeding vehicle came into the deputy’s lane of travel the vehicle fled North into Fargo at which time the deputy terminated the pursuit however continued to follow the vehicle at a safe distance the vehicle eventually traveled into West Fargo which time Wells Fargo police pursued the vehicle for a short time until the vehicle drove back into Fargo and the pursuit was terminated again the vehicle eventually left Fargo and drove South toward Horus the deputy was able to successfully deploy stop sticks on County Road 14 and shortly after the vehicle came to a stop and the driver was arrested without further incident the driver identified his 45-year-old Jason R Remick was transported to the Cass County Jail during intoxication testing at the jail Remick intentionally slammed a deputy’s hand in a drawer and it was subsequently charged with assaulting a peace officer in addition to several uh driving offenses uh Jason Remick of Walcott North Dakota is facing simple assault of a peace officer fleeing in a motor vehicle aggravated reckless endangerment misdemeanor DUI and DUI refusal I’m Neil Berg reporting for itrfnews.i234.me
