GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) — Emergency responders were called to the scene of a serious injury crash in Grand Forks on Monday afternoon.
Video from the scene shows police, fire, and ambulance crews responding to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Columbia Road and 32nd Avenue South. The crash occurred shortly after 4:00 p.m., and first responders quickly arrived to assist those involved.
According to early reports, at least one person suffered serious injuries and was transported from the scene by ambulance with lights and sirens activated. The extent of the injuries and the cause of the crash have not yet been confirmed.
Traffic in the area was temporarily affected as emergency crews worked to clear the intersection. Motorists were asked to avoid the area while responders remained on scene.
Police have not yet released additional details about the individuals involved or what led up to the crash. Authorities continue to investigate and are expected to release more information once their initial findings are complete.
