Webster Township, Rice County (trfnews.i234.me) – Two drivers were injured after a serious two-vehicle crash on southbound Interstate 35 near mile marker 71 in Webster Township on the morning of June 9, 2025.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2011 Jeep Liberty and a 2022 International Tractor Trailer were both traveling southbound when they collided under dry road conditions. The Jeep’s airbags deployed, while the semi’s did not.

The drivers—18-year-old Aiden Lee Lambert of Lyle, MN, and 22-year-old Nathanyel Mychal Daley of Council Bluffs, IA—both suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Hennepin County Medical Center.

Both were wearing seat belts, and no alcohol was involved. The Rice County Sheriff’s Office and Northfield Ambulance assisted on the scene.

I’m Chris Harper reporting for TRF News.
