Second teen pleads guilty in hockey coach’s murder

ST PAUL, Minn. — The second teen arrested in the shooting death of Michael Brasel, a father and hockey coach, has pleaded guilty.

Assisting and abetting 2nd-degree murder was charged against Ta Mla, 18.

On Dec. 14, he will be sentenced.

Michael Brasel, 44, was shot outside his St. Anthony Park home while trying to prevent his wife’s car from being broken into.

Kle Swee, 17, pleaded guilty last month to two counts of second-degree murder. Currently, Klee is serving 25-and-a-half years in prison.
