Search underway for missing man in Clearwater County, Minnesota on Sunday.

CLEARWATER COUNTY, MN (trfnews.i234.me) Family and friends are searching in Clearwater County, Minnesota on this Sunday for a Red Lake man, who was last seen on Monday.
Neil Berg here on a sunday in clearwater county minnesota near uh pine lake uh which is um north uh west of bagley minnesota uh search continues again today for terence nato jr he’s been missing all week last seen in crookston he’s from red lake family and friends are gathering around the sportsman’s lodge by pine lake today to once again search for him on the phone with me is alice benes his cousin to explain what’s known about this case so far told by his um significant other that he had been arrested by crookston police department on i’m not sure which day saturday maybe and he was taken to jail for suspicion of dui and he was they thought that he was confused so they were supposed to have put him in a um like a mental health place for 48 hours then he was released on monday and the police supposedly the the crooks and police then went picking back up from this um facility who we don’t know uh where that is um and took him back to his vehicle in erskine minnesota by a place called customs designs erskine customs designs by park shop yeah by highway 2 and 69. apparently he went to a gas station i’m not sure what gas station had he was already on e and was looking for some money to um asking for some money for some gas i guess and was still acting confused and the uh the gas station owner um you know didn’t help and uh he left the area they said he changed clothes at some point at the gas station and then he left the area and um and they couldn’t tell which way he went um even though family members have talked to the gas station owner and um for people that were working and they reviewed the cameras of the videos and didn’t have much to go on is what they said and so no one is quite sure which way he went but somewhere along the line his cell phone was pinged by either the police or his girlfriend and um and that was in the pine lake area and which is i think like 20 miles 25 miles from earthen and um so family members have been uh driving around searching for him from that erskine area that they were told um there’s been no but at this point his vehicle hasn’t been found no his vehicle hasn’t been found um it’s a white yukon gmc with red lake plates um so yeah he hasn’t been found the yukon hasn’t been found um he hasn’t contacted family he’s he’s not known to just leave the reservation either so um and not to be in contact with family because there’s a lot of family up here all right did he have mental health issues or nobody’s really sure what’s going on nobody’s really sure what’s going on okay all right so there’s no law enforcement involved that’s guiding anybody um as far as searching or ways to search um so like i said family members have been driving around for you know all week um because the last time he was seen was monday evening and so without any guidance we are now going to meet at 10 a.m at that sportsman’s lodge in pine lake um with the consent of the owner um so that we can all gather in a in a spot where people can check in and um since that’s where the phone was pinged and and then we’re going to try to go out from that way instead of from the erskine area so if you’ve seen nato or his vehicle or have any information about his possible whereabouts you’re asked to call 911 or you can contact the family directly at 218-679-4269 i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
