Search Conducted Amid Extreme Cold in Polk County on Sunday Morning

POLK COUNTY, MN (trfnews.i234.me) Law enforcement and firefighters were conducting a search early Sunday morning for a person who walked away from a vehicle in ditch in the extreme cold near Crookston, Minnesota. He was apparently located just after 5 a.m..
uh Neil Berg here with some breaking news out of polk county at uh 4 30 a.m on a sunday morning uh we have a search going on northwest of crookston for a subject who apparently walked away from his vehicle after hitting the ditch and it is now uh 22 degrees below zero the call went out just before 4 00 a.m for fire fighters to help with the search in an area about uh one mile north of crookston on 75 and a mile west uh call also asked for an ambulance to stand by full county beijing clifton ambulance fire department responding to the area at the request of the deputies 240th street southwest and 270th avenue southwest for a male party who walked away from a vehicle that was found in the ditch a male party is not answering his phone deputies just request that you be advised in regards to this in case you need to respond if they should locate him now at uh 502 am radio traffic that the subject had been located at a home or at a building at the airport just north of here it sounded like the subject was okay an ambulance being called to check them out but apparently the subject had been has been found after walking away from a vehicle in the extreme cold early this morning we’ll have more details on this if the polk county sheriff’s department releases them i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
