Saturday Update: Search for Missing Person in GF River Ongoing, No Reports Yet

GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) The search for a person who possibly remains in the Red River at Grand Forks continues on this Saturday
Neil Berg here along the banks of the red river in downtown grand forks on a saturday morning where the search of a person believed to have gone in the river on friday morning continues on friday morning just after 8 a.m a dispatcher took a call from a person who reported a person who was in the river and then lost a sight of them so at this point it’s not for certain that person is actually in the river now on the saturday morning i just talked with lieutenant stein from the grand forks police department who says at this point no one has come forward to report anybody missing well i suggested that could mean uh maybe it was a homeless person something like that and he said well yeah we could be leaning that way but at this point there is nothing confirmed they don’t know for sure if anyone is in the river but the search continues crews are dragging the bottom and using a sonar stick with eye news we’ll keep you updated i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
