Thief River Falls, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – On April 23 at approximately 10:54 a.m., authorities responded to an accident report in the parking lot of Sanford Clinic. Robert Paul Okerlund, aged 66 from Salol, was charged with driving after cancellation – inimical to public safety and subsequently arrested. Okerlund was driving a friend’s vehicle from the clinic canopy to a parking spot when he mistakenly pressed the gas pedal instead of the brake. This resulted in the vehicle colliding with a handicapped parking sign, causing it to fall onto a pickup truck belonging to an individual whose name wasn’t listed in the complaint.
