Saint Hilaire, Minnesota (trfnews.i234.me) — Bonnie Kaml, known as “Ant B,” died on January 12, 2026. She was 62.

Kaml died in Saint Hilaire, a city in Pennington County. The county is based in Thief River Falls. Pennington County lists county services online.

Work and community

Kaml was born on August 7, 1963, in Warren, Minnesota. She later built a career in restaurant kitchens across the region.

Family members said she worked as a chef at several local restaurants. Those sites included Kife’s, Lantern, Country Kitchen, Best Western, Melody’s, Seven Clans Casino, Dawg House, and Wired Bean.

She also catered events with her sister, Toni Burton. The work often took place in the Thief River Falls area.

Outside the kitchen, Kaml made glass beads and jewelry. She was also known as a steady reader.

Family

Kaml was the mother of Jessica Kaml of Fisher, Minnesota. She raised Jessica after becoming a parent at 19.

For about 25 years, Kaml shared her life with Ryan “Skip” Skibicki of Saint Hilaire. Relatives said they were partners and close friends.

Visitation and condolences

A public visitation is scheduled for Friday, February 13, 2026. It runs from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls.

A luncheon will follow at the Heritage Center in Thief River Falls.
