Narrative:
The Harley Davidson was westbound on 75th St. NE, east of the intersection with 133rd Ave. NE. The operator failed to negotiate a curve in the road, causing the motorcycle to depart the roadway, enter the south ditch, roll, and come to rest in the bottom of the ditch. The operator was thrown from the motorcycle and sustained serious injuries. He was initially transported to First Care Health Center in Park River by the Park River Ambulance Service and then transferred to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks due to the severity of his injuries. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
