Becker County, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – Anna Marie Gnahn, 40, from rural Pelican Rapids, faces felony threats of violence and gross misdemeanor domestic assault charges in Becker County District Court. The charges stem from an incident on June 2, where deputies were called to Gnahn’s residence on Deroxe Road.

According to the homeowner, who had been accommodating Gnahn since late May, Gnahn threatened to shoot the homeowner and her friends if they did not leave the property. The threats occurred while the homeowner and her friends were sitting in a vehicle in the driveway. Two witnesses corroborated the threat.

Upon investigation, deputies found a 12-gauge shotgun leaning against the counter, though it was not loaded. Gnahn denied making threats and gave inconsistent statements about who was staying with her.

Initially, Gnahn’s bail was set at $20,000 with no conditions and $5,000 with conditions. After a June 26 hearing, she was released without bail but with conditions: no contact with the victims, maintaining a distance of 500 feet from the residence, and restrictions on alcohol, drugs, and firearms usage
