PARK RIVER, ND (trfnews.i234.me) We have a too cheap to heat rumor in Park River, North Dakota.
we have a too cheap to heat rumor going on at the Dollar General store up in Northeast North Dakota in Park River getting messages that it’s only 50° in the store and uh that the store was told by corporate they couldn’t turn the temperature up over 50 well that’s not true at 3:15 p.m. on this Monday it’s -6 6° below zero in Park River and I just talked with the manager who said the problem is they have two furnaces and one of them isn’t working it just can’t keep up keeping the store warm and he says yeah it’s 50° in there they have a service call out and things will warm up once they get the furnace fixed I’m Neil Berg reporting for I trfnews.i234.me
thanks Neil for quashing that nasty rumor!
Hopefully they get it fixed soon.
Could you elaborate a bit on what the actual rumor was? This video was a bit confusing.

Good grief Neil is this really news worthy get a life instead of likes which you’re lacking tremendously lmao😢
Erskine was out of heat
There was elderly handicapped people showing up at the gas station where i work for a newspaper and 12oz coffee!!..lol omg!!
This has happened at dollar general in warroad as well.
It happens every time the temp dips at pretty much any Dollar General. They build cheap, inadequate buildings and put in cheap, inadequate heating systems and will only allow certain service people so when the heat goes out, the managers can’t call around to find someone who can come now; they have to wait for the approved service person. And, they do have to get approval to turn up the heat. I know this for a fact because I was at our local one, it was very cold in the store and the water was freezing up. The service guy was there telling employees that he got the water thawed but unless they turn up the heat or use a space heater in the back by where the pipes froze until it warmed up in the store, the water would most likely freeze again. Employees were on the phone with corporate and both they and the service guy were telling them this. Corporate refused to listen and service guy left shaking his head. He was back the next morning. When it is zero or lower, the employees wear coats, boots and hats. I know, I’ve seen it many times
