Royalton (trfnews.i234.me) – A crash occurred on December 10, 2025, at 2:15 PM on westbound Highway 10 near North 5th Street in Royalton, Morrison County. A 2002 Chevy Suburban, driven by 63-year-old Richard William Cooper of Long Prairie, MN, spun out on the snow-covered and icy road, directly in front of a 2020 International straight truck, driven by 43-year-old Joshua Allen Athman of Pierz, MN.
The Power Truck struck the passenger side of the Suburban after it spun out. Cooper, the driver of the Suburban, was wearing his seat belt and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to St. Gabriel’s Little Falls for treatment. Athman, the driver of the Power Truck, was also wearing his seat belt and was unharmed in the collision.

The road conditions at the time were snow-covered and icy, which contributed to the crash. Royalton Police Department, Royalton Fire, and Mayo Ambulance responded to the scene.
