Roseau, MN (trfnews.i234.me) — Luis E. Colon-Garcia, 31, of Roseau, is now facing felony charges following an incident where he allegedly threatened postal workers over a missing package.
According to court documents, on March 4th at 9:27 a.m., police were called to Roseau Guest House Apartments after reports of an agitated individual at the local post office.
Two postal employees reported that a man dressed in all black with scruffy hair and a beard entered the post office, yelling aggressively about a package not being delivered to his residence. He then left the post office but later confronted a postal delivery worker outside the apartments, who was in the process of delivering mail.
The situation escalated when Garcia allegedly threatened to “punch his face in”, leaving the worker fearing for his safety due to Garcia’s aggressive demeanor and size.
Garcia has now been charged with:
- Felony threats of violence
- Misdemeanor assault – fear of bodily harm
He is currently in custody, awaiting further court proceedings.
