Ronnie Gail Thompson, 81 years old and lifelong farmer from rural Brinsmade and Devils Lake, passed on the morning of May 21, 2024 at his Devils Lake home with his family surrounding him. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 1, 2024 at the Trinity Free Lutheran Church in Minnewaukan, ND with Pastor Luther ‘Lu’ Mathison officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Music will be provided by Rhonda Thompson Gilpatrick and Rita Thompson Halvorson. Burial will take place at Trinity Free Lutheran Cemetery in Minnewaukan. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Hospice of the Red River Valley: 2860 10th Ave N Suite 400, Grand Forks, ND 58203. Nelson Funeral Home of Minnewaukan is in charge of arrangements.
