Rock County (trfnews.i234.me) – A crash involving two Freightliner semis occurred early on December 8, 2025, on westbound Interstate 90 near Mile Marker 7 in Beaver Creek Township, Rock County. The incident was reported at 1:22 a.m.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, both Freightliner trucks were traveling westbound when they collided. One truck jackknifed in the median, while the other came to a stop on the shoulder of the highway. The road was covered with snow and ice at the time of the crash.

The driver of the first Freightliner, 29-year-old Miles Alexander Jackson from Mesa, AZ, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Sanford Hospital in Luverne. Jackson was wearing his seatbelt, and the airbags did not deploy in his truck. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
The second Freightliner was driven by 56-year-old Necdet Oner from Fayetteville, NC. He also suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Sanford Hospital in Luverne. The passenger, 66-year-old Erdal Demir from Brooklyn, NY, was also injured but in non-life-threatening condition. Both Oner and Demir were confirmed to be wearing seatbelts. Alcohol was not involved in the crash.
The Luverne Fire Department, Department of Transportation, Luverne EMS, and Rock County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.
