ROCHESTER: Man Fatally Shot Outside Apartment Building in Broad Daylight | trfnews.i234.me

Rochester, Minnesota (trfnews.i234.me) – A man was shot and killed late Thursday morning, July 3, outside a northwest Rochester apartment building.

Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of 41st Street NW just after 11:30 a.m. following reports of a shooting. They arrived to find a man lying outside the building with a gunshot wound to the neck and no pulse.

Emergency responders administered CPR and other lifesaving efforts, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

As of Thursday afternoon, the Rochester Police Department has not released the victim’s name or any suspect information. The investigation remains active and ongoing, with no arrests announced and no confirmed motive.

Authorities have also not said whether the shooting was targeted or random. The public is urged to call (507) 328-6800 with any information.
