INDIANAPOLIS — Richard Goodall, known as the “Singing Janitor” from Terre Haute, Indiana, was crowned the champion of America’s Got Talent Season 19 on Tuesday night, taking home the $1 million prize. The West Vigo Middle School custodian first captured hearts with his viral TikTok performance, which led to his unforgettable AGT audition.

During the finale, Goodall performed Journey’s classic “Don’t Stop Believin’” alongside Neal Schon and the band members, bringing his journey full circle from his Golden Buzzer moment with Heidi Klum.

“This win has changed my life. I want to continue inspiring others, one song at a time,” said Goodall.

In addition to performing Journey’s hits, Goodall wowed fans with Michael Bolton’s “How Am I Supposed to Live Without You?” and Survivor’s “Eye of the Tiger.” His emotional journey has resonated with millions, earning him a lasting spot in AGT history.
