Faribault, Rice County (trfnews.i234.me) – On Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at approximately 1:27 p.m., a 70-year-old man from Ironton, MN, was injured when his 2003 Harley-Davidson motorcycle veered off northbound Interstate 35 near Milepost 58 and crashed into the median ditch.
The biker, identified as Thomas Robert Burkhart, was wearing a helmet and did not suffer life-threatening injuries. He was transported to North Memorial for medical care.
Authorities confirmed that alcohol was not a factor, and road conditions were dry at the time of the crash. The Faribault Police and Fire Departments, along with North Ambulance, responded to the scene.
