JAMESTOWN, N.D. (trfnews.i234.me) – Pamela Syverson, a resident of Western Park Village, is preparing to vacate her home following an eviction notice. Syverson, who previously sought help from trfnews.i234.me in April, is medically fragile due to multiple surgeries and is unable to manage physical tasks without assistance.
The eviction stems from lease violations issued in April over flower beds constructed in memory of her late son, Gunnar, who passed away in 2020. Syverson claims these violations escalated after Liechty Homes assumed property management in February, a change that residents say brought stricter enforcement and increased eviction cases.
Another former resident, Aaron Roehrich, shared a similar experience, recounting disputes over minor issues that led to his eviction. The process required him to relocate his home, incurring significant costs.
Liechty Homes General Manager Kathy Grosz stated that the company strives to maintain positive relationships and eviction is a last resort. She emphasized the company’s commitment to upholding community standards and maintaining compliance.
Syverson must vacate her home by December 7 at noon and is seeking assistance from the community to facilitate her move.
