we had a deer rescue on the Red River near peman North Dakota Jake Cosley was riding his snowmobile on the Minnesota side of the river when he spotted this deer in trouble and went into action I was close to the shore but still open water and as far as I could tell the deer couldn’t touch you know so like I don’t know if it’s I don’t know if it’s 4 feet deep or if it’s 10t deep you know grabbed onto his rack as I was grabbing it he pretty much was just like he just had nothing left and he started just to like sink away Fall Away under the ice you know like the current was just taking him after handful of pullings I I finally got one front shoulder to pop up onto the ice then the other one popped up there and I just kind of kept pulling and eventually I got his back legs to you know finally go against the current and get flopped up on top of the ice too and got him drug out and laid he just laid on the ice was you know laying on his side for probably 10 minutes and finally he uh I suppose you could say gained enough strength to like get himself propped up into a sitting position Cosley says after around 45 minutes the deer regained enough of its strength to climb the riverbank and head off into the night he obviously must must be good enough to take off running somewhere all right well Santa smil that you I guess I’m Neil Berg reporting for I trfnews.i234.me
