Reportedly Stated To Deputies: “There Ought to Be a Surge in Police Shootings…”

CLEARBROOK, MN (trfnews.i234.me) A Clearbrook, Minnesota man is facing criminal charges, followint a March 16th incident in Clearwater County.
a disturbing case out of Clearwater County Minnesota 28-year-old Caleb Perez of Clearbrook allegedly told deputies there should be more police shootings here’s the story of what happened reading from the criminal complaint with the names of victims and specific addresses omitted quote on March 16th uh the reporting party indicated Caleb Perez had taken his truck and was intoxicated short shortly thereafter the reporting party called back and indicated Perez had returned uh while on the call a deputy heard yelling that he was going to kill the reporting party uh deputies arrived at the rural clear bork residence uh one Deputy noted that Perez appeared intoxicated he was slurring his words and unsteady on his feet while at the residence uh one the deputy observed a bite mark on the reporting party’s arm as well as a bruise below was eye the reporting party indicated Perez was his roommate and that he had bitten him while the reporting party was attempting to stop Perez from destroying items in the home a deputy placed Perez under arrest for domestic assault Perez was transported to the baggley ER for evaluation at the ER Perez berated the ER staff and deputies he urinated in a trash can then kicked the can over and kicked medical equipment Perez attempted to bite one death Deputy once in the room for the evaluation Perez kicked another deputy in the face leaving a mark Perez indicated to deputies that there should be quote more police shootings and that they deserve to die unquote Perez refused to walk out of the ER and had to be carried he has prior convictions uh for uh violence in this case he’s now been charged with felony assault on the deputy and gross misdemeanor assault for uh trying to bite another deputy and gross misdemeanor uh assault charge for biting his roommate I’m Neil Berg reporting for I trfnews.i234.me
