Redby Woman Charged with Arson and Burglary in Bemidji Incident

BEMIDJI, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A 43-year-old woman from Redby, Minnesota, Renee King, is facing felony charges of arson and burglary after allegedly attempting to set a home on fire near Bemidji. The incident occurred south of Bemidji off Carr Lake Road. According to the homeowner, Faith Moan, they were sleeping when King allegedly took a can of gasoline from a building on the property, poured it on the side of their house, and set it ablaze. Moan and her family quickly extinguished the fire with a garden hose. Moan stated that they did not know King, who fled the scene on foot. No motive for the alleged arson has been provided.
