Red River Update: Man’s “Emergency” Turns Out to Be Leisurely Swim

FARGO, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – In an unexpected twist, what was initially perceived as an emergency turned out to be a simple swim in the Red River. Emergency responders were dispatched to Dyke East in Fargo, south of I-94, following a 911 call about a man in the river. Upon arrival, they found the man relaxed and enjoying a picnic after a swim.

The Battalion Chief clarified that there was no need for alarm. The man was unharmed, without any medical issues, and was simply taking advantage of the sunny day. The Battalion Chief advised against swimming in the river due to high water levels but confirmed that the situation posed no danger.

  1. I've swam in the river more than once but I don't recommend it to just anyone, it's a dangerous river with under current's concrete, steal, tree's, garbage, possible infection if you're not careful, not to mention the mud if you get stuck your not getting out your dead! Period…. You better know what you're getting yourself into there, that river looks okay but it is dangerous
