Red Lake Police Officer Shot & Killed
RED LAKE, MN (trfnews.i234.me) The Red Lake Tribal Chairman has confirmed a police officer died today. Earlier on this Tuesday, TRF News received several messages from Red Lake residents that an officer had been shot.

Given this tragic incident took place and occurred on a reservation (considered Federal I believe) who takes over and assumes responsibility for the investigation as well as charging the suspects? FBI or BIA (Bureau of Indian Affairs)?
They do have the person in custody. Or so i am told by those who are on the rez there.

Once again they're proving that their need for secrecy about crimes committed on reservations outweighs any consideration for public safety. No word about where the murderer is, what led up to this situation, & what the public needs to do.
