Red Lake Man Guilty of Sexually Assaulting Incapacitated Minor – trfnews.i234.me

Red Lake (trfnews.i234.me) — A federal jury has found Clarence Clark Jr., a resident of Red Lake, guilty of two counts of sexually abusing a minor following a disturbing incident that occurred in the early morning hours of March 1, 2024.

According to Acting U.S. Attorney Lisa D. Kirkpatrick, Clark sexually assaulted a minor who was physically incapacitated at a residence on the Red Lake Reservation. Evidence presented at trial revealed that another minor was present during the assault and managed to interrupt the crime, fleeing to a neighbor’s home for help.

When law enforcement arrived, Clark was found intoxicated at the scene and was promptly arrested by Red Lake Tribal Police.

The guilty verdict was delivered on May 15, 2025, in U.S. District Court before Judge John R. Tunheim.
