On March 1 7, the Pine to Prairie Drug Task Force received a report that some suspected drugs were found near gasoline pumps at Kruse In in St. Hilaire.
Seth Ryan Ellefson, 38, Red Lake Falls, has been charged with felony fifth-degree possession of a controlled sub stance -second or more.
The complaint was filed on March 30. According to the complaint, surveillance footage showed a man exiting a sport utility vehicle near the gas pumps and the bag, which contained methamphetamine, falling off of him and onto the ground. The wind later moved the bag.
The man, who was a passenger in the vehicle, then went inside to pay for the gasoline. An officer thought it looked like Ellefson. His driver’s license photo allegedly seemed to match the individual, and his Facebook page showed him wearing a hat similar to the one worn by the man in the surveillance footage.
