The Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office has released its weekly activity report for November 1–7, 2025, highlighting a mix of warrant arrests, citations, and local incidents across the county.


Disturbance in Red Lake Falls – November 1

A deputy responded to a report of a disturbance at a Red Lake Falls residence on the afternoon of November 1. Two adults were found to be in a verbal dispute. No crimes were committed, and the deputy mediated the situation.


Warrant Arrest in Plummer – November 3

On the morning of November 3, deputies investigated a suspicious vehicle parked on city property in Plummer. The vehicle was registered to Thomas Marvin Staff Jr. (36) of Red Lake Falls, who had active misdemeanor and felony warrants out of Red Lake County and Wright County.

Staff was located at a nearby apartment and surrendered peacefully after a brief standoff. He was booked into the Crookston jail for the warrants and for violating a Domestic Abuse No Contact Order (DANCO).
He pleaded guilty to the DANCO violation in Red Lake County Court on November 5 and was transferred to Wright County authorities the following day.


Speeding Citations

  • Thomas Raymond Olson (40) of Thief River Falls was cited on November 3 for speeding on County Road 1 east of Plummer.

  • Kallie Jo Beito (21) of Roseau was cited on November 6 for speeding on County Road 5 north of Oklee.

  • Robert Anhilm Peterson (61) of Lancaster was cited later that evening for speeding on Highway 59 north of Brooks.


Dog Ordinance Violation – November 4

Daniel Patrick Stephens (42) of Red Lake Falls was cited for allowing a dog to run at large and failing to register his pet with the city. The citation stemmed from an investigation into an October dog-at-large complaint.


Property Dispute – November 4

A resident reported a property dispute with another individual. A deputy provided advice and assistance to both parties.


Expired Registration Citation – November 5

Ethan Scott Douglas Londgren (24) of Solway was cited for expired vehicle registration on Highway 59 south of Brooks.


Assault Investigation – November 6

Deputies are investigating an assault report from the city of Plummer that allegedly occurred overnight. The case remains under investigation.
