In the early morning hours of 01/25/25, a vehicle was ticketed for violating the winter parking ordinance on Main Ave. in Red Lake Falls.
On the morning of 01/25/25, a parked and unoccupied vehicle was struck by a mail carrier’s vehicle on 4th St. SW in Red Lake Falls. The vehicles involved sustained minor damage and there were no injuries.
On the afternoon of 01/27/25, the Roseau County Sheriff’s Office reported Nathan Wayne Hason (24) of Red Lake Falls posted $100 cash bail to satisfy the outstanding misdemeanor warrant Red Lake County held. He was released from custody, and he appeared in Court in Red Lake Falls on 01/29/25.
On the evening of 01/28/25, the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a vehicle in the ditch along 130th Ave., northwest of Red Lake Falls in Red Lake Falls Township. The caller stated the lone occupant of that vehicle did not appear to be injured but did appear to be impaired. A Red Lake County deputy responded and found the operator of the suspect vehicle, Brett James Larson (37) of West Fargo, ND asleep in the front seat. It was quickly discovered that Mr. Larson was extremely intoxicated. He was arrested, taken to jail in Crookston and he was booked for felony DWI and gross misdemeanor driving after cancelation inimical to public safety. The vehicle was also towed from the scene. Mr. Larson appeared in Court in Crookston on 01/30/25 and he remains in custody at the time of this release.
