On the afternoon of 10/25/24, Anthony Charles Lundeen Jr. (34) of Oklee was cited for expired motor vehicle registration and no proof of current motor vehicle insurance on CR. #5 north of Oklee.
On the afternoon of 10/25/24, Thomas David Straabe (20) of Gonvick was cited for speeding on CR. #5 in Oklee.
On the evening of 10/25/24, the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office reported they detained Cassondra Lynn Kmecik (25) of Red Lake Falls. Red Lake County held an active sign and release misdemeanor warrant for her. Ms. Kmecik signed a promise to appear and was released. She is scheduled to appear in Court in Red Lake Falls on 11/20/24.
On the morning of 10/26/24, a Red Lake County deputy responded to a Red Lake Falls residence where an adult female was having a mental health crisis. The deputy provided counseling and transported her to the Sanford ER in Thief River Falls so she could receive professional mental health services.
On the evening of 10/26/24, Lillie Kathryn Hebert (49) of Grand Forks was cited for speeding on Main Ave. in Red Lake Falls.
On the evening of 10/26/24, Bobby Joe Robinson (40) of Crookston was cited for operating a vehicle without a valid driver’s license on Main Ave. in Red Lake Falls.
On the afternoon of 10/27/24, a Red Lake County deputy responded to a dispute over child custody in Oklee. The deputy spoke with all the parties involved and the situation was mediated.
On the morning of 10/28/24, the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a report that a young child was hanging around near the Cenex Store in Oklee, and they were not accompanied by an adult. A Red Lake County deputy responded and returned the child to their residence. The child’s guardian was counseled.
On the afternoon of 10/29/24, the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint that an individual was trespassing at a Brooks residence. A Red Lake County deputy served a written trespass notice to a party in Brooks and advised them to stay away from the complainant’s residence.
On the afternoon of 10/29/24, a juvenile from Plummer was cited for having illegal window tint on their motor vehicle on CR. #6 east of Oklee.
On the afternoon of 10/29/24, Red Lake County law enforcement officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at a Lambert Township residence. A Minnesota State Trooper also responded to assist. It was determined that no crimes had been committed and two individuals were having a verbal dispute. The parties involved were counseled, and the situation was mediated.
On the afternoon of 10/30/24, an individual reported they were walking on Champagne Ave. in Red Lake Falls when a dog, which was running loose, came at them aggressively and bit their pant leg. A Red Lake County deputy investigated the complaint and found the dog’s owner, Roberta Jo Roff (47) of Red Lake Falls, allowed her dog to run loose. Ms. Roff was cited for the city ordinance violation.
On the evening of 10/30/24, the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a domestic dispute at a Plummer residence. Red Lake County deputies and a Minnesota State Trooper responded to the scene. An adult male claimed that a female dumped a vacuum cleaner bag over his head and struck him with a baseball bat. Investigation at the scene revealed that Jayden Rose Iverson (22) of Plummer, committed acts of domestic assault. She was arrested, taken to jail in Crookston and booked for felony assault with a dangerous weapon and misdemeanor domestic assault. Ms. Iverson appeared in Court in Crookston on 10/31/24. She posted $500 cash bail and was released from custody. She must abide by court ordered conditions and she will make her next court appearance in Red Lake Falls on 11/06/24.
On 10/31/24, a formal criminal complaint was filed, charging Anthony Stuart Peralta (18) of Thief River Falls with felony assault. The criminal complaint alleges Mr. Peralta assaulted an adult female in the city of Red Lake Falls in the early morning hours of 07/28/24. This assault caused substantial harm to the victim, including multiple facial fractures. Mr. Peralta will be summonsed to appear in Court in Red Lake Falls in November of 2024.
On the afternoon of 10/31/24, Naomi Evelyn Hanson (43) of Trail was cited for speeding on CR. #1 east of Plummer.
